The ‘Bow Corridor Ecosystem Advisory Group’ (BCEAG) is a interagency advisory group formed in 1995 to address environmental and resource issues in the Bow Corridor. BCEAG’s partnering agencies include the Town of Canmore, Municipal District of Bighorn, Alberta Government, Banff National Park and Town of Banff. Working in a multi-jurisdictional partnership, BCEAG prepares integrated recommendations for consideration by the member agencies.

Note: the BCEAG Wildlife Corridor and Habitat Patch Guidelines are currently undergoing an update and revision.  At this time (January, 2013) the most current version is the 2011 Draft.

 


BCEAG Recreational Opportunities Working Group (ROWG) Draft Recommendations
The ‘Recreational Opportunities Working Group’ (ROWG) was formed as working group of BCEAG with the purpose of coordinating and making recommendations on the management of recreational opportunities from Banff National Park gates to Seebe.   The following recommendations were developed following consultation with user groups, industry, local jurisdictions, and the general public.
