Awards

In 2007 the Biosphere Institute was awarded the Rachel Carson Environmental Stewardship Award for the program "Idle-Free Canmore".

The Biosphere Institute coordinated the 2003 Canmore Community Monitoring Report.  The report received an Honorable Mention in the Innovation Category for the Minister's Award for Municipal Excellence (2004) from Alberta Municipal Affairs.
