Bow Valley Sustainability Hub - ProgramsEducation and TrainingThe Hub offers a wide range of educational opportunities and sustainability training to individuals, businesses, and other organizations in the Bow Valley. There is something for everyone, ranging from public presentations by noted speakers, household “EcoTeam” trainings, Natural Step trainings tailored to different community groups ranging from small businesses to non-profits, and the monthly Sustainability Times published in the Rocky Mountain Outlook. Contact us to see what will work for you. ResourcesWe are building a digital and hard copy library of resources on all aspects of sustainability. Individuals and organizations are welcome to use the Hub’s resources to learn more about sustainability and get connected with what’s going on in the valley and elsewhere. Contributions to our growing knowledge base are always welcome! Services and SupportMany Bow Valley individuals and organizations have great ideas for sustainability projects, but don’t know how to get them started. We provide support that includes collaborative planning, helping find financial and other material resources, and providing networking with other individuals and organizations that may be able to help. PartnershipsFinding practical, cost-effective sustainability solutions requires people working together. To that end, we work to build partnerships with other organizations and municipalities that are pursuing sustainability. One example is “Bow Valley Sustainability,” an overarching program that promotes any and all community-oriented sustainability projects in the Bow Valley. Please contact us to discover if your program or initiative can be advertised as part of the Bow Valley Sustainability initiative. Learn more about our current offerings. |
