Whether you’re interested in becoming a FireSmart Neighbourhood Champion, joining a local FireSmart committee, or simply understanding how the program works, this session will walk you through it all. We’ll cover why the NRP matters, how to get started, and the support available to you from the Town of Canmore and the Biosphere Institute.

This session will be co-hosted by Simon Bagshaw, Regional FireSmart Coordinator for the Town of Canmore, MD of Bighorn, and Kananaskis Improvement District; and Kendra Hogg, ClimateSmart Program Coordinator for the Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley.
