The Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley is pleased to offer two wildlife education programs, targeted to both locals and visitors!
Get Your Bear-ings- staff Wildlife Safety and Bear Spray training (1.5hrs)
Help keep everyone safe by equipping your team with the skills to safely and respectfully coexist with the wildlife. Our staff training includes a one hour wildlife safety session and bear spray deployment experience. Your staff will integrate their learnings into everyday life and interactions with guests. Successful participants will receive a certificate upon completing the training.
Bear Necessities- All ages interactive Interpretive show for visitors (1.5 hrs)
An exciting and immersive presentation led by wildlife experts, designed to captivate and educate your guests! With an array of pelts, claws, antlers, and other wildlife artifacts on display, guests will have the unique opportunity to engage directly with a local expert and explore the secret lives of Bow Valley wildlife, for a truly memorable experience.
