Curious about electric vehicles and wondering how they truly perform in winter conditions? The Winter EV Driving VIP Experience, proudly powered by Plug’n Drive and presented by the Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley, brings hands on EV learning directly to your door.
This free, brand agnostic experience pairs you one on one with knowledgeable local EV drivers who understand Bow Valley winters. Our EV Ambassadors Ron Groves and Edmund Ong share real world insights from driving electric vehicles in cold temperatures, over long distances, and in mountain conditions.
Participants will test drive a brand new electric or plug in hybrid vehicle both in town and on the highway, visit local charging stations, and learn how to use charging networks, plan routes, and understand winter performance. There are no sales pitches or marketing hype, just honest answers based on personal EV ownership experience in Alberta.
Booking Details
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Earlier times are available upon request. Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Vehicles include the Cadillac Optiq AWD, Volvo XC60 plug in hybrid AWD, and the Chevrolet Silverado EV.
