What EV charging can look like depending on where you live, whether you own a home, rent, or live in a condo or apartment.
What to consider when planning for EV charging, including electrical capacity, shared charging, and practical first steps for individuals and buildings.
About the Speaker
Edmund Ong is a research scientist by training, with a doctorate in Pharmacology & Toxicology. Which is a fancy way of saying nerd. Since moving to Canmore in 2020, he's become increasingly involved with environmental non-profits, particularly on climate change issues. Edmund is currently the Chair of the Bow Valley Climate Action Society, a board member of Bow Valley Green Energy Cooperative, and local lead for Plug'n Drive, a national electric vehicle outreach and education non-profit. Edmund and his team were the ones who put on the Electric Vehicle test drive event last fall just behind the Rec Centre and this spring at the Calgary Auto Show.
